I'm very happy I went with this tray over one of the hexagonal trays. The shape and height of the walls make the dice clearly visible from any angle. And there is a major positive missing from the description, the bottom side of the tray is completely covered in green felt. This makes the tray pretty quite and we can slide it on the table from player to player. By far the best tray I've ever used.

This dice tray is sturdy and attractive. Since buying it, I have been using it in favor of my dice towers for rolling dice. The low walls allow the dice roll to be easily seen by all players, but still keep the dice contained for all except the most aggressive rolls.

The other reviews nailed it, I'm just adding in my two cents for those on the fence about whether to add this somewhat superfluous extra to their order. I'm going to be using it for RPG sessions, and it's just awesome. Adds a touch of class to the proceedings, if you ask me. Well worth my 15 bucks.

I was upset I couldnt find the original delux yaghtze one we were use to for yrs.
Then i came across this wooden tray. Thought oh well better then nothing.
To my familys surprise, we love it!! Its better then the old square yaghtzee one. Its easy and seems more stable.
I,m glad i found this, we love it!!!!
I highly recomend it especially for all the yaghtzee lovers, the regular game just comes with cup dice and paper, so the dice flies across the table. This tray is awesome!! Buy it. Im thinking I should order a second to have to keep on hand for when this wears out yrs down the road I wont be left wondering what to do if this product is no longer sold. You will love it!!

I bought this for my family and it has proven very popular. We all play at the kitchen table without having to worry that the dice are making pockmarks in the tabletop. The children use it to play yahtzee on the carpet or while sitting cross-legged on their beds.
The wood of the tray is nicely put together and it is very attractive. Excellent value-we bought two-one to use and one to give as a gift.
