Bad quality. No warranty Aug 01, 2009
By C. Cosi I bought the acetate cards from the official Modiano site, and after a month of use, all the cards started discolorating. The ink started coming off, and now these "premium" cards look worse than a used bicycle deck. I took very good care of my cards, so I thought it was a manufacturing defect. I emailed Modiano directly, and they said:
"I'm sorry unfortunatly Modiano does not offer a warranty to there cards. If you wish to purchase replace cards you can send $1 for each card along with a self addressed stamp envelope to address on your replacement card form."
I'm not sending them $104 to replace both decks. Such a shame, because they seemed like good cards otherwise.
I'd recommend you stay away from them just because of the bad customer service and the quality of their products.
Now time to look for a better set to replace these decks.
My first 100% plastic cards and they are great Mar 25, 2009
By Steven Woodworth I have the guys over for Poker once a month and these were a big hit. These are my first 100% plastic cards. I have used the cheap ones from the dollar store, better plastic coated, and used casino cards. These are far better then any of those. They feel good when shuffling, no sticking, and just feel right when playing. They seem very sturdy and it is hard to bend the corners but not impossible. I bought them for the durability so only time will tell if they hold up.
I did the research and these ranked as high as any of the other brands. The price was right and I have no regrets. (note: These came in a cardboard box with a pastic insert.)

Product Description Incomplete Sep 19, 2009
By Anthony Seran I've purchased Modiano playing cards several times in the past from different vendors. I assumed that all designs of these spectacular cards came in a case befitting their durability. However, the cards i received had a less than satisfactory case to store them in. There was no mention of a case in the description and I accept full responsibility for making an assumption. However, i will not purchase from this vendor, or any other vendor for that matter, until the details of the case are specified.
