Great deck of playing cards Dec 14, 2009
By J. Chen

I got these playing cards along with Copag playing cards Copag Poker Size Regular Index Playing Cards (Master Design Setup) a few years ago with the Poker craze. Both are very high quality and I'm not sure I have a preference of one over the other.
They are very good since they are plastic, thus washable and hopefully last forever. The quality of the cards is very nice. The Bridge-size isn't really a concern, even though I've used them exclusively for Poker games. I like the ability to use them for Bridge though! Mine are actually the Regular index instead of Jumbo, but Jumbo index can't hurt for those that find it hard to see from a long table or if they are older. Come to think of it, Jumbo should be better!
I would've liked a simpler design on the back to prevent people from marking the cards, but considering it's durability and our honesty, this isn't a concern. The white border prevents people from bottom-dealing too!
The only problem I had when I received these cards from a store on eBay a few years ago was that some of the cards in a deck had round dents on them, thus are naturally marked. This didn't look good and could aid in cheating as described before. Thankfully, KEM has a great policy where you return the Ace of Spades along with the damaged cards and you can get a new deck. This was promptly done and it's great. They even gave me a nice sturdy black plastic box for the new deck! Now I have a deck with 5 cards missing and 2 whole decks; so if any other cards get damaged, I can replace them.
One last minor detail: when shuffling with these cards, they can fly since they're so smooth and clean! So make sure whoever is shuffling knows how to do riffle shuffles well!

a little disappointed May 07, 2009
By Joanne Kenney I was disappointed upon receiving these cards as I opted for the Jumbo size set however only 1 deck is Jumbo and the other is standard......this was never stated....it says Jumbo set (which it was not).

Slip Sliding Away Apr 19, 2011

I have a couple of sets of Kem plastic playing cards. With just a modicum of care they should last a lifetime... really a first class product.
But (always a but, right?) they are incredibly SLICK... if you are not careful a hand shuffle will result in the cards flying in all directions. While playing bridge with friends over the years I have had just about the same number of complaints as positive comments.
They take a bit of familiarity

Warped and Crackled in 3 months Oct 19, 2010

Kem cards were supposedly the best, but the new ones from US Playing Card Company are worthless. Unfortunately, after I bought 2 decks - both became unuseable after only 3 months. The fronts became "crackled" and the entire cards warped. Never seen anything like it. They had a great product
I suggest:
