Great Poker Cards Aug 02, 2008 KEM cards are great for constant playing. Poker games go smoothly with these easy to handle plastic cards. Buying these cuts down on having to purchase regular cards often. The don't bend and cannot be easily marked by a bend or crease.

Like a rubber basketball Jun 30, 2007 I disagree with two supposed positives about these cards (and maybe plastic cards in general).
1. They are easy to play with. I have found that they in fact do stick together. You know how you shuffle your hole cards in Hold'Em? It doesn't feel right when you do it. And checking your cards at the corners is awkward as well. You have to press down awkwardly in order to get a peek. And since they do retain their shape, it'll be that way for good.
2. They are durable/break resistant. Don't believe the hype. Yes, they retain their shape well, but you over bend it, and believe me it will crease.
Basketball Analogy: You know how the NBA introduced a rubber basketball but the players hated it and they switched back? That's how I feel about these. It's a nice idea but in execution it doesn't work. Just like a rubber basketball, it feels weird/chafes the hand and the cards remove part of the experience that is part of poker. It's like playing with lightweight chips - it doesn't feel right.
My Recommendation: Suck it up and buy paper cards. If you're a casual player then using paper cards will be just as or more cost-effective, plus you'll have a better experience. If you play a lot then you don't need my review and you can suck up the cost of paying to replace decks (if you're decent and if not then why keep playing?) :P
Oh, and the case is bad - cheap plastic with no latch - keep it level!

Impress your friends!!!!!!! Mar 11, 2007 Great cards...really wows my friends! Easy to read with the big numbers, especially during my texas hold em games when lots of people are playing.
Only downfall is they are a little slippery, and some of my older friends have problems picking them up off the table. Personally, I like them very much.

KEM CARDS Jan 23, 2006 Well worth the price, from playing weekly poker games at my house and others we've gone through so many decks of cards I lost count, use to buy them by the cases. From people spilling, ripping, bending, sticky and not knowing how to shuffle the cards would just be trashed after a game. I got a deck of KEM from a buddy (smaller bridge size) and was hooked they can take a beating. Some people didn't like them, mainly cause I had the small size, but now I got the wide size Jumbo index it's perfect. Love them and I know I won't have top buy new decks for a long time. Just don't get to crazy. They get sticky or spilled on, wipe them down! Just like new! Well worth the price, these will be the last type of cards you'll ever want.
